National Accounts Manager

The Scholastic Trade Sales team is looking for a National Accounts Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Reaching Annual Sales Goals
  • Sell in and promotion of Scholastic’s 600+ titles a year
  • Management of coop budget
  • Participation and sales research for weekly acquisitions and Sales and Marketing meetings
  • Partnership with Key Account—Barnes & Noble on all Scholastic initiatives

Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

  • Accounting
  • Code & enter invoices into the accounting system; process and pay AP
  • Supervise deposits of checks, and make bank deposits when necessary. Record cash receipts in accounting system.
  • Record monthly automatic payments and receipts
  • Enter temporary staff payroll allocations in G/L
  • Code monthly credit cards bills with cost allocation information provided by program staff; upload entry
  • Code monthly UPS invoices with cost allocation information provided by program staff
  • Create G/L entries such as those related to depreciation, Scholastic charges, pledges receivable, prepaid expenses

Visual Designer, Scholastic Classroom Magazines

Scholastic Classroom Magazines is seeking an ambitious UI/Visual Designer who thrives in a small, cross-functional, and collaborative environment. This position requires superb design skills, an eye for typography, and a flexible outlook when it comes to working creatively with an editorial team. We are looking for a reliable designer with excellent communication skills, a detail-oriented approach, and consistent execution. The position reports to the Director of Digital Classroom Magazines.  

Responsibilities:

  • Work from the UX team’s wireframes to produce polished visual design comps
  • Create and evolve the visual design language for the products we work on while maintaining awareness of the larger ecosystem of product and design standards
  • Present design concepts to stakeholders
  • Work with current branding to develop new products for Classroom Magazines

Senior Oracle Integration Architect

The WMS architect is accountable for proactively and holistically leading or supporting EA activities that create deliverables that guide the direction and drive targeted business outcomes. This is a hands-on role focused on defining and implementing Oracle Cloud solutions/integrations addressing business requirements and priorities for the WMS process area. The WMS architect will be primarily focused to architect technology solutions from Oracle Fusion Cloud to/fro WMS Applications [preferable Manhattan WMS modules (WMOS & Manhattan TMS)]. 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Enterprise Architect peers (e.g., enterprise, business, information and solutions architects) to analyze and derive the technology architecture future state
  • Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models
  • Lead the analysis of the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
  • Hands on ability to demonstrate a working POC towards the proposed solutions

Principal eCommerce Digital Lead Developer - Demandware

As a Principal Architect, you will translate business requirements into technical designs and unlock the business value of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). You will establish architecture standards, ensure code quality and be accountable for the health of the overall solution. You will teach, mentor and share knowledge, improve processes and develop systematic solutions to problem patterns

Reporting to the Director of eCommerce engineering, the Principal Architect will manage the eCommerce development team to ensure delivery quality and achieve efficiency following agile development best practices. As part of these responsibilities, the Principal architect will provide input to the product roadmap, helping to identify, manage, test and launch feature/function updates and enhancements.

Tax Accountant

Responsibilities:

  • Monthly reconciliation of tax balance sheet accounts. Research and identify reconciling items
  • Sales tax liability accounts
  • Tax reserve account
  • Property tax accrual accounts
  • Prepare month end Journal Entries for the tax accounts
  • Analyze P&L tax accounts to identify variances between prior year and budgeted/forecasted amounts
  • Work with divisions on developing annual budgets and forecasts
  • Maintain and update budget and forecast activity each quarter
