Associate Manager, Advertising

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and implement advertising and promotional campaigns for all of Scholastic’s trade division including media buying and media planning for consumer and industry ads. 
  • Strengthen relationships with key vendors and research new advertising opportunities allowing us to expand our strategy and audience reach. 
  • Analyze all ad campaign reports and use findings to create stronger campaigns and advertising strategies. 
  • Access Adobe Analytics for all advertising to gain on demand insight for our campaigns. 
  • Work across the 5 marketing teams and consult with them to brainstorm and strategize marketing campaigns each season.

Director, eCommerce Engineering

The Director, eCommerce Engineering leads efforts to deliver best-in-class eCommerce experiences for Scholastic’s channels, including Book Clubs, Book Fairs, The Teacher Store and the Scholastic Store. A successful director will have a passion for delivering high-quality solutions that delight our end customers and business stakeholders as well as a knack for identifying and cultivating engineering talent.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Execute technology initiatives in Scholastic eCommerce and Book Fairs eEngagement domains 
  • Manage the eCommerce and Book Fairs digital engagement engineering organization 
  • Become the leading expert on the technologies that drive the business and how they are used (processes, workflows, integrations, etc.) 
  • Develop a deep understanding of both the current and future state line-of-business needs and how those relate to technology by working closely with our business leaders as well as our technology organization.

Regional Director, Professional Learning (Scholastic Education)

Our Education Division is seeking to hire a highly qualified Regional Director of Professional Learning with deep knowledge and experience with literacy. The role of the Regional Director is to manage and provide leadership to a regional team made up of a cohort of Literacy Specialists, partner with the sales team to position professional learning solutions to customers, ensure high quality and timely delivery of professional learning entitlements to customers, and consult with higher level district leaders on balanced literacy practices, instructional strategies, and guided reading.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Partner with SVP Professional Services, Sales RVPs and other leadership to set and monitor regional goals that drive annual revenue targets, key performance indicators, and organizational strategies around professional learning
  • Partner with SVP Professional Services to improve PLS systems and efficiencies
  • Contribute to the development of PLS content, resources and tools as a subject matter expert 
  • Facilitate consultative discussions with customers, sales leadership & AEs to determine district needs for professional learning

Associate Director, Master Data Management Governance and Compliance Services

The Associate Director will act as Product and Customer Master Data visionary for the Business Units and Centralized Master Data Teams. The person in this position will possess a deep understanding and knowledge of Publishing Industry Master Data and its impact on the business units. He or she will also interface with business units and analyze and implement processes related to product set-up and enrichment, and work closely with IT to specify/configure application to efficiently support and implement those requirements.

Responsibilities include: 

Understand the relationship between works, products, contributors, promotions and other integrated functions within STEP. Ensure proper training is provided to all STEP users. Work with channel Master Data Specialists to ensure divisional priorities are being addressed and requirements for existing/new processes are followed.

Understand the relationships between our customers, their organizations and Scholastic's various business units. Support the roll out of Realtio and its integration to Salesforce, Oracle and all other order capture applications. Drive best practice within the Customer Data maintenance teams.
