In Our Feeds: Storybook ball gown, novel recipes and grammar blunders

Each Friday, we share a handful of links we found interesting, provocative, funny — or just plain cool. We call it In Our Feeds. Have a good weekend!

As Earth Day approaches, I always look for creative and daring ways to recycle materials. I was in complete awe when someone created an entire dress made from old Golden Books. Check out how this designer took discarded and dilapidated books and transformed them into a (literal) fairy tale ball gown.

Brittany found a great article featuring recipes inspired by your favorite novels. This is perfect as my two favorite activities are reading and eating.

What makes an excellent read? Nadia sent me this funny article highlighting the eight stages a reader faces when becoming obsessed with a new book.  I am currently in the anxiety-ridden “putting it off stage.” I just don’t want the book to end.

Lia (our wordsmith extraordinaire) sent me this helpful infographic showcasing simple writing mistakes you must never make. Are you guilty of any of these grammar mistakes?

Here are few more interesting links that the OOM team could not stop talking about this week:

Happy reading, everyone.
