Yesterday, kids participating in the Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge unlocked the first story of the summer: A Kick in the Teeth, by Wendy Wan-Long Shang. Kids will love this whimsical story about an aspiring dentist who disrupts fairy tales during his quest for cleaner teeth. It's fully illustrated and has an audio component, so you can read aloud along with the narration.
